Taittinger Prélude Grands Crus is an exceptional non-vintage cuvée, made exclusively from grapes grown in Grand Cru-classified vineyards. Composed of equal parts Chardonnay (from the slopes of Avize and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger) and Pinot Noir (from Bouzy, Ambonnay, and Mailly), this champagne was aged on its lees for more than five years to develop greater depth and finesse.
Its pale yellow color with silvery highlights is enhanced by a fine, creamy effervescence. The nose is subtle and fresh, marked by an initial minerality quickly followed by notes of white flowers (elderflower) and a hint of spicy cinnamon.
On the palate, the attack is crisp and lively, with fresh citrus aromas, giving way to a round, silky, and full-bodied texture dominated by flavors of candied white fruits. The finish is rich, long, and explosive, bursting with complexity and freshness.
Serve between 8 and 10°C — perfect pairings: classic seafood, shellfish, oysters, or delicate fish in sauce.
A modern and refined champagne that combines balance, minerality, and elegance — a true flagship of Taittinger’s Grand Cru authenticity.
