Terroir and Winemaking
The wine benefits from the gravelly terroir characteristic of Margaux, ideal for optimal drainage and perfect ripening of the grapes. Winemaking is meticulous: maceration in wood and stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by controlled malolactic fermentation. Free-run and press wines are blended and handled delicately to prevent any bitterness or unpleasant vegetal notes.
The wine is aged in oak barrels for 18 to 26 months, depending on the vintage, with traditional egg-white fining. This artisanal care guarantees the wine's finesse and balance.
